PLC Library Management Software

Because today's manufacturing environment dictates multiple users with access
to multiple programmable device programs, that environment must be controlled
so that there is only one production copy of each program. MASS simplifies the
procedures for maintaining and controlling the programs associated with factory
control by addressing such issues as: Security, Privileges, Master Program
Control, Time-Scheduled Uploads and Comparisons, Maintenance of Log Files. MASS
acts as a user-transparent filter that screens user privileges. Classes of
users are assigned privileges, e.g., upload/download, edit logic, and print
reports, which either restrict or allow access to programs and functions. MASS
allows one master copy, one current working copy, and a compare copy. Log files
display all privilege-related activities. Import and export to/from
program-panel based software is easy. A number of printouts allow the System
Administrator(s) to effectively manage the programmable device support system
on an area-or plant-wide basis. MASS works in concert with ProDoc which
supports Allen-Bradley PLC's.
